Michael Lynn Snider

Mr. Michael Lynn Snider, age 60 formally of Mount Airy passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Cedar Hill Nursing Facility in Clemmons. Mr. Snider was born on March 31, 1964, in Forsyth County to the late Kenneth Edward Snider, Sr. and Josephine “Sis” Leftwich Snider. Michael was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Surviving are his sister and brother-in-law, Kim Snider Rose and Steve; two brothers and sister-in-law, Timothy Lee Snider and Donna, Kenneth Edward Snider, Jr. and Pam; three aunts and spouse Imogene Simmons, Joann Snyder, Jackie Dixon and Keith; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Snider was preceded in death by his eldest brother Mickey M Snider; maternal grandparents, Oscar and Carrie Leftwich; and his paternal grandparents, Sanford Snider and Odessa Atkins Tyson; and one Aunt Faye Goad. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the People’s Church Cemetery in Mount Airy with Reverend Randy Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends following the service, at the home of Timothy Snider, 405 Pippen Street, Mount Airy, North Carolina 27030. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
