Michelle Gravely

Mrs. Michelle Claudette Hammond Gravely, 61, of Ararat, VA, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  She was born in Monroe County, FL on December 31, 1959 to the late Emmett Palson and Shirley Hammond.  Michelle was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.  She is survived by her husband, Roger Gravely; a son, Michael Gravley; grandchildren, Payton Kaylor, Nathan Kaylor, and Kaitlyn Kaylor; Her father, John Hammond and Janice; sisters, April Edwards, and Tracy Nester; a special friend, and caregiver, Bridgette Horton; a special niece, Paige Carrico; many other nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gravely was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Carrico.  A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens with the Rev. Donnie Hooker officiating.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 until 1:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
