Mildred Ann Gonzalez

Mrs. Mildred Ann Norman Gonzalez, 62 of Mount Airy, passed away early Friday morning December 4, 2020 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home.  She was born March 2, 1958 in Davidson County to the late Howard Swanson Norman and Annie Lorraine Tate Norman.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.  Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Manuel Dejesus Gonzalez; daughter, Misty Draughn; son, Dale Sechrist and fiancé Courtney, grandchildren; Katlin Draughn, Felix Balderas, and Fabiano Balderas; sister, Kathy Pack; and niece Ashley Hooker and husband Chad.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gonzalez was preceded in death by an infant son, Manuel DeJesus Lee Gonzalez; and her brother, Charles Norman.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 8 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy McCraw officiating.  Burial will follow in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 until the time of the service.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Gonzalez family.
