Ms. Mildred Ruth Galyean Patino, age 76, of Mt. Airy passed away Monday, April 23, 2018, at Northern Hospital of Surry County.  She was born December 27, 1941 in Carroll County, VA to the late Guy Franklin and Bertha Upchurch Galyean.  Ms. Patino was retired from the Textile Industry and was of the Baptist faith.  She is survived by daughters, Libby Noah and Angela Cave, both of Dobson, NC; her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Melissa Wood of Mount Airy, NC; grandchildren, Veronika Ruvio, Ricky Ruvio, Britnie Baker, Salena Ruvio-Ayers, Austin Baker, Johnathan Felts, Alexis Cave, Andrew Cave, Whitney Wood and Madison Wood; great-grandchildren, Laila Ayers and Korbin Jenkins; sisters, Barbara Cave and Virginia Marshall; and brothers, James "Buck" Galyean and Ronnie Wyatt.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Moody-Davis Chapel.  Reverend Brian Frazier will officiate the service.  Burial will be in the Dobson City Cemetery.  The family will received friends on Friday one hour prior to the time of the service.  Moody-Davis Funeral Service is Dobson is assisting the Patino family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Moody-Davis Funeral Service, PO Box 295, Dobson NC 27017, to assist with final expenses
