She was born January 13, 1930 in Hollywood, CA to the late Frank and Mildred Philpott Bills She was co-owner and operator of a machine shop and was a homemaker, Surviving are her husband, Murray Sterling of the home, a daughter, Terry Sterling, Dobson, NC, a son, Steve Sterling, Mooresville, NC, two grandchildren, Randi Sterling, UT and Shauna Sturtevantt, CA.
