Mildred “Millie” Ann Spencer Coleman, age 70, of Myrtle Beach, passed away, Friday May 7th, 2021 at Embrace Hospice House of the Grand Strand. Born May 9, 1950 to Mille Ann Easter Spencer and Rufus Matterson Spencer. She is survived by her husband and best friend Michael Ray Coleman; sister, Audrey Spencer; two sons and a stepdaughter, Anthony “Tony” Wayne Nations (Debbie), Robert “Robbie” Madison Nations (Bradley Hartsoe), and Randi Michelle Coleman Riggs (Tony). She has joined her parents, brother Don Spencer, and grandson Saxon Nations. She has four grandchildren, Joseph Nations, Damien Nations (Lindsey Allen), Samantha Faith Riggs, and Farrah Grace Riggs. She was raised in Cana, VA, where she raised her two sons before meeting her best friend and future husband Mike. She moved to Mount Airy, NC where she lived with her stepdaughter Randi, son Tony, and son Robbie. She discovered a passion for golf and newfound loving competition for the sport with Mike! That journey and sport took them to the purchase of a home at Myrtle Beach, SC where they lived, laughed, sang, loved, befriended, cooked, entertained, and baked their way through life! She was the best wife, mother, friend, and cookie baker, that God ever placed on this earth. She will be missed, especially by her loving husband Mike, who anxiously awaits being with her again. Until then, she is in the tender arms of Jesus. Rest in peace Millie. A celebration of life will be held, at a later date and location, TBD.
