Minister Juliaette Dudley Wimbush

Minister Juliaette Dudley Wimbush, age 62 of Woolwine, went home to be with her heavenly father on Monday, October 9, 2017 at her home. She was born in Martinsville on July 28, 1955, and was preceded in death by her mother, Marion Walker Scales, and three siblings, Verneter J. Royal, Joelette Martin and Maurice Dudley. She was an ordained minister of Fresh Harvest Christian Church, a loving wife and mother, and to her grandchildren was lovingly known as “Grand Julie”.

Mrs. Wimbush is survived by her husband of 36 years, Junior Leroy Wimbush of Woolwine; three children, Jullian Wimbush and wife, Lee of Newport News, Mauri Wimbush of Virginia Beach and Melodie Wimbush of Woolwine; four grandchildren, Jullian D. Wimbush, Jaedyn Wimbush, Damian Wimbush and Emerie Wimbush; three siblings, Youlanda Dudley, Orpheus Scales and Winona Dudley, all of Martinsville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 13, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Junior Wimbush presiding, and Eulogist, Pastor Leroy Wimbush. Burial will be private.
