Minnie Agnes Smith Cassady

Mrs. Minnie Agnes Smith Cassady Age 93 of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday December 8, 2011 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Mrs. Cassady was born November 14, 1918 in Patrick County to the late Melvin and Lula Lovill Smith, she was a farmer and homemaker. Surviving are three daughters Frances Sue Cassady Cooke of White Plains, Fathe Jane Cassady Cook of Mt. Airy and Shelby Jean Cassady of Mt. Airy, two sons Daniel Cassady of the home, Donald Cassady of Mt. Airy, five grandchildren , nine great grandchildren, two sisters Lela Young of Mt. Airy, Mabel Tate of High Point. In addition to her parents Mrs. Cassady was preceded in death by a great grandchild, one sister and two brothers. Funeral services will be held Sunday December 11, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Hospice Chaplain Sharon Snow with entombment in the Skyline Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
