Miss UIden Elaine Gammons

Miss Ulden Gammons age 82 of 372 Mt. Herman Road, Mt. Airy, NC passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Central Continuing Care. She was born December 17, 1929 in Surry County to the late Willie and Atheline Hiatt Gammons. She was a farmer and a member of Mt. Herman United Methodist Church. Surviving is a special niece and husband, Clara Horton and, Mark, Galax, Va. a special nephew and wife, Willie Gammons and wife Amanda, Mt. Airy, a sister, Eloise Gammons, Mt. Airy, three sisters-in-law, Beulah Mae Gammons, Winston-Salem, Virginia Gammons, and Lola Gammons both of Mt. Airy, several other nieces and nephews, a special great niece, Katelyn, Gammons, Mt. Airy, and a special great nephew, David Gammons. In addition to her parents, Miss Gammons was preceded in death by three sisters, Thelma Gough, Woodie Jessup, Vera Smith, and five brothers, Madison Gammons, Ivan Gammons, Wilford Gammons, Gilmer Gammons, Thaxter Gammons. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Lynn Jordan and Rev. Jackie Danley. Burial will follow in the Mt. Herman United Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10:00 am Saturday until time of the service at Moody Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt.
