Miss Shannon Darnell Laws

Miss Shannon Darnell Laws, age 26, of Westfield, NC passed away at her home on Thursday morning October 6, 2011. She was born in Davie County, NC. She was a disable, child care giver and was a member of Maple Spring Baptist Church. Surviving are her parents Paul and Hilda Laws of Dobson; four sisters Regina, Amanda, Samantha, and Teresa; two brothers Robert and Shawn; her grandmother Virginia Laws of Dobson; and several nieces and nephews; special friend Jeff Puckett of Westfield. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Rudolph and Ilse Montigny,and Rev. Robert P. Laws. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday October 9th at Maple Springs Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery, Rev. Woody Flippin and Rev. Tommy Shelton will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Maple Spring Baptist Church from 2:00 P.M. until time of her service at 3:00 P.M.. Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the Laws family.
