Miss Arbealy "Bealie" Martin

Miss Arbealy "Bealie" Martin, age 95 of Patrick Springs, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2009 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. She was born on December 22, 1913 in Stoneville, North Carolina to the late Charlie W. and Nannie Lou Kendrick Martin. In addition to her parents, Miss Martin was preceded in death by one sister, Evedale Oliver, and three brothers, Ed Martin, Webb Martin and Richard "Hump" Martin. She had attended Goodwill Baptist Church.
Miss Martin is survived by one brother, Oscar Martin of the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart; several nieces and nephews; and a special niece and caregiver, Helen M. Harris of Patrick Springs.
Funeral services for Miss Martin will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Calvin Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the A.J. Martin Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, and at other times at the home of Helen M. Harris, 688 Anthony Drive, Patrick Springs, Virginia.
