Miss Maxine Lola White

Miss Maxine Lola White, age 82, of Dobson, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019, at her home.  She was born on November 12, 1936, in Surry Co. to the late Hubert White and the late Cora Ellen White White. Miss White was a member of Union Cross Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mae White Nichols, Vernia Elizabeth White, Neonia Florine White; brothers, Rufus White, Hoover White Sr., Montgomery White, and Sandy White. Surviving is several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to her caregiver, Ry Durham who did an amazing job, and also to Mitzi Woodring and Gayle Holt for their loving care and support.  The family will conduct a private burial. There will be no formal services held at the funeral home.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the White family.
