Miss McKenzie Lucile Moore

Miss McKenzie Lucile Moore, age 24, of Pilot Mountain, NC formally of Dobson, NC passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday September 1, 2013. She was born in Surry Co. on November 26, 1988 to Kenneth and Renee Stinnett Moore. She was employed by Interlam Design and Chili's, had attended Dobson First Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Surry Central High School and of East Carolina University. Surviving are her parents Kenneth and Renee Moore of Dobson; a sister and brother-in-law Whitney and Brian Smith of Lynchburg, VA; two nieces Lydia Smith and Hannah Smith; Maternal Grandparents Freddie and Lawana Stinnett of Buena Vista, VA; uncle and aunt David and Beth Stinnett of Glen Allen, VA; great uncle and aunt Malvin and Tana Sue Huddleston of Clemmons, NC. McKenzie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents OL and Eunice Moore. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday September 6, 2013 at Dobson First Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the Greenhill Cemetery in Buena Vista, VA. The family will receive friends at Dobson First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Thursday evening from 6PM until 8PM. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Surry Animal Rescue 112 Quail Run Rd. Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
