Miss Martha Lynn Phillips

Miss Martha Lynn Phillips, age 61, of Dobson, NC, passed away on Monday morning November 18, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. She was born in Surry Co. on March 19, 1952 to the late Joseph and Pearlie Edwards Phillips, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Frances Sechrist; three brothers EJ Phillips, Gray Phillips, and Jack Phillips. Surviving are six sisters Belva Colbler of Mt. Airy, Margaret Davis of Mt. Airy, Brenda Beverly of Mt. Airy, Sylvia Conner of Mt. Airy, Versie Nelson of Pilot Mountain, and JoAnn Willard of Kernersville; two brothers Bobby Phillips of Mt. Airy, and Jerry Phillips of Mt. Airy; Special Friend Beth Flinchum of Dobson; care givers Joan Bledsoe, Sumer Lehardy, Autumn Sparks, Denise Donardt, Lee Ann Wood, Shalonda Bryant, and Danielle S. Baldwin and all the staff at QC, Inc. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday November 20, 2013 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson with Bro. Chris Sparks and Bro. David Sparks conducting the services. Her cremains will be returned to the family at a later date. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of her services at 2:00 P.M.. Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the Phillips Family.
