Miss Willie L. Tate

Miss Willie L. Tate, 99, of Mt. Airy passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born in Surry County on March 16, 1917 to the late Robert Lee and Alice Rowena Tate. Miss Tate is survived by a sister, Ila Coe and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, Miss Tate was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Skyline Memory Gardens with Rev. Randy Edwards officiating. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
