Misty Dawn Blevins

         Misty Dawn Simmons Blevins, age 30, of Stuart, passed away October 1, 2018.  She was born in Patrick County on September 27, 1988.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Buren and Treva Underwood.  She attended Abiding Grace Pentecostal Holiness Church and was baptized in August of 2009.  She loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.  She was full of life and you could always find a smile on her face.  Misty will be remembered for the love she had for her children, although being a caretaker came naturally to her, she truly cherished being their mommy.

         Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Regina and Tommy Massey; two children, Kylei Paige Blevins, Michael Gage Blevins; two sisters, Ashley Dalton, Katie Simmons; maternal grandparents, Mike Van Sutphin, Reva Shough; aunts and uncles, Steve and Rachel Van Sutphin, Tammy and John Eames; nieces and nephews, Madilyn Grace, Elijah Eugene, Levi Dwayne, Emmilyn Marie, Karlee Marie; several cousins; and her bestie, Lynn Helton.

         A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastors Jeff Dalton and J.R. Vipperman officiating.  Burial will follow in Slate Mountain Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
