Mitchell Wayne Hayden

Mr. Mitchell Wayne Hayden, age 57, of Mt. Airy, Passed away unexpected in Surry County on April 5, 2019.  He was born in Surry County on February 22, 1962 to Betty Jean Key Hayden and the late Billy Vernon Hayden.  Mr. Hayden was employed at Lowes Hardware.  In addition to his mother, Mr. Hayden is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Zachary and Laura Hayden; a brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Wendy Hayden; niece, Montana Hayden; nephew, Brody Hayden.  In addition to his father, Mr. Hayden was preceded in death by a brother, Teddy “Pete” Hayden.  A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Hope Baptist Church with Dr. Craig Edwards officiating.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the church.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
