Morrico "Rico" Nowlin

         Mr. Morrico “Rico” Nowlin, age 43 of San Antonio, TX, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023.  He was born in Frankfurt, Germany on Feb. 22, 1980, to Walter Nowlin of San Antonio, TX and Virginia Hatcher Nowlin of Eden, NC.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter Henry Nowlin and Melissa Nowlin; his maternal grandparents, James and Virginia Hatcher; one daughter, Eternity Nowlin; and a brother, Walter “Slick” Nowlin.  Rico was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.  He loved music and making friends.

         Surviving in addition to his parents are four children, Iziah Nowlin, Jo Jo Nowlin both of Washington, D.C., Alijah Nowlin, Tabitha Nowlin both of San Antonio, TX; one grandson; one brother, James Henry Nowlin of San Antonio, TX; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

         Funeral services will be held Friday, March 24, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Benny Redd officiating.  Burial will follow in the Samaria Holiness Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
