Mr. Alonza Lee Yates

Mr. Alonza Lee Yates, age 84 of Patrick Springs, Virginia, passed away at his home on April 22, 2018. He was born in Spray, North Carolina on May 18, 1933 to the late Homer lee Yates and Henrietta Hylton Yates. Mr. Yates served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and retired from Martin Processing after more than 25 years of service.
Mr. Yates is survived by his wife of 61 years, Alice Hatcher Yates of the home, one sister, Betty Yates of Floyd, VA; two sons, Warren Lee Yates of Stuart, VA and Michael W. Yates of Tennessee; one daughter, Deborah Y. Foley of Patrick Springs, VA; five grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
