Mr. Alvis Lee Tucker

Mr. Alvis Lee Tucker, 67, of Siloam passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at his home. He was born in Caswell County on May 21, 1950 to John Thomas Tucker and the late Violet Loftis Tucker. Mr. Tucker was owner operator of Tucker Paint Company and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his father, Mr. Tucker is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Gail Davis Tucker of the home; a son, Bryan Davis Tucker of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Anna Gail Tucker, Garrett Lee Tucker, and Sena Dawn Davis; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy Lester and Dewey of Reidsville, Phyllis Smith and Jerry of Mt. Airy; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray Tucker and Patricia of Richmond, VA, John Tucker and Shawn of Reidsville, many nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by a son, Scottie Lee Tucker. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM at True Vine Baptist Church with the Rev. Rawley “Dink” Haynes, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
