Mr. Anthony Lee Watson

Mr. Anthony Lee Watson, age 27 of Dobson passed away Friday, December 16, 2011. Mr. Watson was born in Surry County on February 16, 1984. Mr. Watson is survived by his mother and step father, Rhonda Kay Norman Atkins and Gurney of Dobson; father and step-mother, Timothy Wilton and Alisa Watson of SC; a sister, Ashley Watson and her fiancé, Donovan Spidell of Salem, OR; step sisters, Eva and David McMillian of Mt. Airy, Tina and Scott Becker of Mt. Airy and Linda Farlow of High Point; a niece, Emma Spidell and a nephew, Efrain Angeles. Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his wife, Jayney Taussig Watson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at Maple Springs Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 by Rev. Ted Crotts and Rev. Woody Flippen. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the church from 12:30 PM until the time of the service and at other times at 138 Adventure Trail, Mt. Airy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Moody Funeral Service, PO Box 1288, Mt. Airy, NC 27030 to assist with the funeral expenses.
