Mr. Arthur "Ray" Norman

Mr. Arthur “Ray” Norman, 53 of Mt. Airy, passed away Monday afternoon, October 10, 2016. He was born in Surry County on April 26, 1963 to the late Glenn Franklin Norman and Edith Wagner Norman. He was employed at Mt. Airy Tire. Mr. Norman had a big and loving heart and will be dearly missed by all his many friends and coworkers. Mr. Norman is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Don Lassiter of Ashboro. Mildred and John Knock of Florida; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe Bill and Diane Norman of Mt. Airy; nieces and nephews, Chris and Candace Norman of Mt. Airy, Brandon Norman of TN, Rickey and Alicia McNeil of Ashboro, Barbara Tucker of FL, Kathy White of Maryland, Robbie Knock; many devoted Cousins. In addition to his parents, Mr. Norman was preceded in death by his step-mother, Mary Riddle Norman. A graveside service will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens with Mr. Jimmy Draughn, Mr. Todd Goodson, and Mr. David Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
