Mr. Auda Spofard "Buck" Snow

Mr. Auda Spofard "Buck" Snow age 92, of Rockford Rd. Dobson the husband of the late Ernestine Doss Snow passed away on Thursday morning October 12, 2006 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin. Mr. Snow was born in Surry County on February 3, 1914 to the late W.A. Snow and the late Levora Williamson Snow. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Famie Snow and Norma Barber; two brothers Kermit Snow and Jim Snow. Mr. Snow was a retired farmer and also retired from Renfro Corporation. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law Claude "Rink" and Helen Snow of Dobson; a granddaughter and her husband Janie and Ricky Surratt of Little River SC; a grandson and his wife Tim and Bridgette Snow of Dobson; two great grandchildren Britta Snow and Dylan Surratt; two sisters and brother-in-law Lala Doss of Boonville, Thelma and Paul Journey of Hamptonville; four brothers and sisters-in-law Cleve Snow of Yadkinville, Fonzo and Ruby Snow of Courtney, Foster and Gay Snow of Yadkinville, Calvin and Mary Snow of Yadkinville; Several Nieces and Nephews. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday morning in the Cemetery of Stony Knoll United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends on Friday evening 7 until 9 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson.
