Mr. Barry Warren Collins

Mr. Barry Warren Collins, age 56 of Stuart, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was born in Patrick County on January 25, 1960 and was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Shockley Collins. He was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle. He loved the outdoors and his co-workers at Bassett Furniture.

Mr. Collins is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Casey Collins Hawks and Christopher of Stuart; a granddaughter, Emily Hawks; a step-grandson, Ethan Craft; his father, James Collins of Stuart; one sister and brother-in-law, Camilla Comer and Michael of Madison, North Carolina; a nephew, Bryan Comer and wife, Brooke; his fiancé, Tammi Bullins and her children, Felicia Bowman and Avery Bowman, and grandson, Brayden, all of Stuart.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Minnies Chapel Wesleyan Church with Pastor Gary Combs and Pastor Chad Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is in charge of the arrangements.
