Mr. Benny Ray Holt

Mr. Benny Ray Holt, age 59 of Stuart, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on October 22, 1952 to the late Harvey Lester Holt and Rachel Virginia Lawson Holt.
Mr. Holt is survived by four sisters, Mildred Collins of Stuart, Ann Holt of Claudville, Barbara Brown of Claudville and Audrey Pendleton and husband, Delano, of Stuart; eight brothers, Jack Holt of Claudville, Claude Holt of Ararat, James Holt and wife, Regina of Westfield, North Carolina, Henry Holt of Stuart, William Holt and wife, Karen, of Ararat, Leonard Holt and wife, Marge, of Stuart, Roger Holt and wife, Debra, of Stuart and Randy Holt of Mount Airy, North Carolina; special nephews, Henry Holt, Jr. and wife, Vanessa, and Mason Holt; and special nieces, Trinity and Taylor Holt, Gabriella and Danica Swisher and Abigail Pendleton
Funeral services for Mr. Holt will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Tommy Nichols officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Holt Family Cemetery.
