Mr. Billy R. Stovall

Mr. Billy Richard Stovall, age 78 of Meadows of Dan passed away Saturday evening at Laurel Meadows Nursing Home. He was born on Oct. 5, 1929 in Patrick County to the late Emmit Stovall and Annie Willard Stovall Martin. Mr. Stovall was an electrician with United Elastic and served in the U S Army.
Surviving are his wife, Beatrice Hubbard Stovall of the home; one daughter and son in law, Brenda and Roger Conner of Meadows of Dan; three grandchildren, Ashley Conner, Roger Conner II, Tammy Sarvis and husband, Douglas; one great granddaughter, Hannah Grace Sarvis; five half-brothers, James, Clifford, Jimmy, Joseph, and William Martin all of North Carolina; and one sister, Helen McHone of North Carolina.
There will be a graveside service Monday, March 3, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Hubbard Family Cemetery in Meadows of Dan with Bill Banks officiating. There will be a flag presentation by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements.
