Mr. Bobby Dean Haynes

Mr. Bobby Dean Haynes, 47, of Mt. Airy passed away at his home on February 20, 2017. He was born in Surry County to Peggy Sue Goins Haynes and the late Robert Dean Haynes. Mr. Haynes worked as an IT Tech at Surry Community College and he was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife, Susan Hull Haynes; children, Jordan Nicholas Haynes, Robert Cason Haynes and Emma Katherine Haynes; brothers and sisters-in-law, William “Billy” and Christy Haynes and Chad and Shannon Phipps; nephews and nieces, Isaac Phipps, Addie Phipps, Jax Haynes, Brooke Haynes, Courtney Hill and Cameron Bryant; two great nephews and several special aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Ivy Green Baptist Church with Dr. Dan Merritt and Dr. Darrell Tate officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy from 12:30 PM until the time to leave for the service.
