Mr. Bobby Clarence Shelton

Mr. Bobby Clarence Shelton, age 68, of Stuart, passed away Monday, November 19, 2007 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. He was born in Henry County on February 22, 1939 to the late Jerry and Carrie Cruise Shelton. In addition to his parents, Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Shelton, and a sister, Melvie Newman. He had been a manager at J. D. Bassett Furniture Industries.
Mr. Shelton is survived by his wife, Opal Booth Shelton of the home; three brothers, Curtis Shelton of Collinsville, J. D. Shelton of Bassett, and Archie Shelton of Blackberry, Virginia; and a sister, Ruby Parcell of Lawsonville, North Carolina.
Funeral services for Mr. Shelton will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Ricky Randall officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Church of the Brethren cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to the time of the service at the funeral home.
