Mr. Bobby Lee Shinault
Bobby Lee Shinault, age 79 passed away late February 6, 2017 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. He was born January 27, 1938, to the late Benjamin and Vader Shinault, weighing less than 2 lbs. His will to live gave him many years to enjoy living life to its fullest. Bobby was a loving husband and father, and adored his grandchildren. That adoration was reciprocated tenfold. Mr. Shinault was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Vader Poindexter Shinault; three sisters, Alene Shinault, Gladys Hawks, and Frankie Turner; and two brothers, Wilson Odell Shinault and Thomas Benjamin Shinault.He is survived by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Alma McCraw Shinault; two daughters and sons-in-law, Annette and David Dezarn and Shannon and Steve Ford; three special grandchildren, Madison and Natalie Dezarn and Luke Ford; sister, Gloria Thornes; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Beulah Shinault, James and Jackie Shinault, Wilbur Shinault, and Katherine Shinault; and brother-in-law, Vernon Turner and many special nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. The Funeral will be Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Little Mountain Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Watson and Reverend Rayton Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Gifts in his memory may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
