Mr. Bobby Monroe Wimbley

Mr. Bobby Monroe Wimbley, age 63, of Elkin, NC passed away on Monday December 21, 2015 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin. He was born in Guilford Co. on November 7, 1952 to the late Herbert Franklin and Imo Jean Brooks Wimbley. He was a disabled sheet metal worker. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law Leslie Ann and Pete Terry of High Point; one son and daughter-in-law Ricky and Tameisha Wimbley of Greensboro, NC; four grandchildren Sunette Hunt, Sean Wimbley, Chaya Wimbley, Chayton Austin Wimbley; two sisters and brothers-in-law Carolyn and David Hooker of Elkin, Mary Jane and Larry Snow of Dobson; two brothers and sisters-in-law Bill and Mary Lee Wimbley of Dobson, Sammy and Lucille Wimbley of Dobson. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday December 24, 2015 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, with burial to follow in the Central View Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
