Mr. Brady Vaughn

Mr. Brady Vaughn, age 75 of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Vaughn was born in Carroll County on March 22, 1936 to the late James Early and Mary Ann Dowell Vaughn. He was retired from Harlan Holder Sawmill and was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Vaughn of the home; half sisters and brother-in-law, Betty Jean and Troy Wilson of Sophia; Pauline Vaughn of Winston Salem and Louise Via; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Vaughn was preceded in death by two sons, Junior Lee and Jeffery Dean Vaughn; a brother, James Early Vaughn; half sisters, Nonie Jones; half brothers, James, Cassel, Matt, and Lonnie Tolbert, Raymond and Melvin Vaughn. Funeral services will be held Sunday June 26, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Butch Holder officiating. Burial will follow in Flat Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
