Mr. Brewster Michael Scott

Mr. Brewster Michael Scott, age 52 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011 as the result of an automobile accident. He was born in Patrick County on July 9, 1959 to the late Brewster L. and Vera Martin Scott. He had been an electrician for Parks Construction, felt most comfortable and at home at the Fellowship at the Foothills Church, and loved playing the guitar.
Mr. Scott is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Michael Steven and Stephanie Scott of Roanoke; three grandchildren, Gabriel Michael Scott, Noah Eli Scott and Lylah Lynn Scott; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Brenda Gates and Gary Talbert of Martinsville and Penny L. Vipperman of Bassett; and one brother and sister-in-law, Stuart R. and Dana T. Scott of Stuart.
A graveside service for Mr. Scott will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the New Hope Church of the Brethren cemetery with Rev. Danny Gilley and Pastor Delmas Rorrer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery, and at other times at the home of his brother, Stuart Scott.
