Mr. Buford Micah Ayers

Mr. Buford Micah Ayers, age 62, of Cana, VA, passed away Wednesday May 25, 2016, at his home. Mr. Ayers was born in Carroll County December 20, 1953, to Harless and Lucy Mae Ayers. He was a truck driver and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are sisters and brothers-in-law, Esther Ayers, Leah and Bob Metz, and Juanita and David McMillian; brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin Ayers, Howard and Shirley Ayers, Ralph and Conelia Ayers, Tommy and Susan Ayers, Charles Ayers, and David Ayers and Debbie Brooks as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Mr. Ayers was preceded in death by an infant son; a sister, Ruth Guynn and by a brother Kenneth Ayers. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Hope Community Church by Rev. Anthony Thomas and Rev. Isreal Gwyn. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday beginning at 2:00 PM.
