Mr. Burnham "Glen" Estes

Mr. Burnham Glenville “Glen” Estes 86, of Mt. Airy, passed away at his home on Sunday morning, October 25, 2015. Mr. Estes was born in Parkman, Maine on March 8, 1929 to the late Burnham L. Estes and Nina V. Jackson Estes. Glen is survived by his wife, Virginia “Ginny” May Harris Estes of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Gail King and husband James of Mt. Airy, NC, Brenda Nickerson and husband John of Midlothian, IL; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gerald Estes of Mt. Airy, NC, Brian Estes and wife Grace of Ararat, NC; two step-daughters, Ann Marie D’Acunto and Tammy Hoisington, both of Manchester, NH; three step sons and spouses, Irving Seymour and Vickie of Newport, NH, David Seymour and wife Sharon of Mt. Airy, NC, Richard Seymour and wife Debbie of Mt. Airy, NC; eleven grandchildren; nineteen step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; eighteen step great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Bobby Estes of Stetson, ME. In addition to his parents, Glen was preceded in death a son, Kevin Scott Estes; two granddaughters, Kathy Ann Seymour, and Amanda Adams; a step son, Alfred Leroy Seymour; and seven brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy. There will not be any formal visitation for the Mr. Estes.
