Mr. C. Michael Cannaday

Mr. C. Michael Cannaday, age 38 of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 2, 1974 in Martinsville, and was a 1992 graduate of Patrick County High School. Mr. Cannaday was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Gladys Shough Cannaday, and his maternal grandparents, Paul Wright and Mayola Turner Wright.
Mr. Cannaday is survived by his wife, Toni Davis Cannaday of the home; his parents, Leroy and Pat Wright Cannaday of Stuart; one brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Krystal Cannaday of Sumter, South Carolina; one sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Steve Priest of Martinsville; his paternal grandfather, Buford Cannaday of Stuart; one niece, Gracie Cannaday, and two nephews, Logan Cannaday and Braydon Priest.
Funeral services for Mr. Cannaday will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Rick Randall officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Church of the Brethren Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, and at other times at the home of his parents, 1166 Lackey Road, Stuart.
