Mr. Calvin Edgar Belcher

Mr. Calvin Edgar Belcher, age 78 of Woolwine Hwy., Stuart passed away Saturday at Pioneer Community Hospital. He was born in Patrick County on July 27, 1932 to the late Lester Belcher and Adlena Harris Belcher.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Dorothy Walker Belcher of the home; two step sons, Charles Hylton and wife Ellen of Stuart, Ray Lee Hylton and wife Joan of Stuart; two grandchildren, Devin Lee Hylton, Lucas Alan Hylton; one sister, Erma Adams and husband Allen of Martinsville; two brothers, Coy Belcher and wife Jane of Woolwine, Bernice Belcher and wife Brenda of Woolwine; one brother in law, Claude Helms of Meadows of Dan; a sister in law, Frances Belcher of Woolwine; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Monday, Sept 13, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Jacks Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Melton officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the Sycamore Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
