Mr. Cecil Ray "Toby" Chappell

Mr. Cecil Ray “Toby” Chappell, age 53 of Cana, VA, passed away Monday, September 05, 2016, at his home. Mr. Chappell was born in Caldwell County on September 19, 1962 to Arthur Chappell and the late Brenda Chappell. Left to cherish is memory are his wife, Cindy Corder Chappell; a daughter and son-in-law, Jolena Combs and Jason Phillips; his father, Arthur Chappell; nine grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Josephine and Dorsey Rucker, Lillie and John Middleton, Bunny Chappell and Jeff King; a brother and sister-in-law, Derrick Chappell and Tina Beamer; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, Mr. Chappell was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Chappell; sister, Penny Chappell and a special uncle, Darrell Chappell. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
