Mr. Chad Ashley Pike

Mr. Chad Ashley Pike, 33, of Pilot Mountain passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Surry County on August 7, 1977 to Jimmy Lee and Joan Davis Pike. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, of the home; a brother and sister-in-law, Scottie and LeAnn Pike of Pilot Mountain; his maternal grandmother, Arlene Davis of Dobson; a niece and nephew, Carley and Chase; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mr. Pike was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Davis; his paternal grandparents, Howard and Betty Pike. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home at 2 pm on Friday, August 5, 2011 by Rev. Barry O'Neal with burial to follow in the Fairview Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 pm on Thursday, August 4, 2011. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Kim Kinsley and the staff of Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for the loving, compassionate care shown to them during this difficult time.
