Mr. Charles Lindburgh York, Jr

Mr. Charles Lindburgh York, Jr., age 57, of Lambsburg, VA, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at his home. Mr. York was born in Galax, VA on September 24, 1958 to the late Charles L. York, Sr. and Hazel Irene Hawks York. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Ida Belle and Ryan Jones; a son, Jason McBride; a grandson, Glendon Lacy Jones and a grandchild due in October; sisters and a brother-in-law, Ramona York and Jack Ball, Judy Kay York, Jenny Fay York, and Janice May York. In addition to his parents, Mr. York was preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Lynn York. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Fellowship Tabernacle with Rev. Donald Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
