Mr. Charlie Wade Lawless, Sr

Mr. Charlie Wade Lawless, Sr., age 81, of Stuart passed away Sunday at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart. He was born on July 8, 1929 in Patrick County to the late Charlie Lee Lawless and Cora Alma Rorrer Lawless. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Marie Puckett Lawless; a great granddaughter, Erica Nichole "Nikki" Belcher; two sisters, Clarabell Coleman, Eulalie Padgett; and a brother, Arthur W. Lawless. Mr. Lawless was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church; had retired from United Elastic; and was the van driver for the Southern Area Agency on Aging.
Surviving are a daughter, Deborah K. Lawless of Stuart; two sons and daughters in law, Charlie Wade Lawless, Jr. and Carolyn of Stuart, Teddy Ray Lawless and Donice of Stuart; three grandchildren, Zane Rigney, Jared Rorrer, Denice Beasley; three great grandchildren, Kevin Belcher, Trey Beasley, Logan Rorrer; and one brother, James A. Lawless of Danville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Sycamore Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Melton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
