Mr. Charlie "Bud" Marshall, Sr

Mr. Charlie "Bud" Marshall, Sr., age 70 of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on September 16, 1941 to the late Early and Viola Dalton Marshall. A brother, Mack Marshall and a sister, Nancy Harris, also preceded him in death.
Mr. Marshall is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Mike Stegall of Martinsville; one son and daughter-in-law, C.J. and Shannon Marshall of Stuart; two grandchildren, Billy and Mitchell Williams; four great-grandchildren, Mitch, Evan, Tyler and Nathaniel Williams; four sisters, Annie Boyd of Vesta, Virginia Howell of Vesta, Dorothy Agee of Meadows of Dan and Sue Webb of Willis; and two brothers, Pete Marshall of Laurel Fork and Lloyd Marshall of Stuart.
Funeral services for Mr. Marshall will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Eddie Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewis Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
