Mr. Charlie Edwin Puckett

Mr. Charlie Edwin Puckett, age 89 of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at the R. J. Reynolds Patrick Memorial Hospital in Stuart. He was born in Patrick County on January 4, 1917 to the late Samuel and Dora Lee Cockram Puckett. In addition to his parents, Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Beasley Puckett, and one sister, Myrtle Boyd. Mr. Puckett served in the United States Army during World War II, and was a retired maintenance supervisor for the Town of Stuart.
Mr. Puckett is survived by two brothers, Leonard Puckett of Chesterfield and Otis Puckett of Meadows of Dan, and two sisters, Nellie Barnard of Meadows of Dan and Thelma Lewis of Martinsville.
Funeral services for Mr. Puckett will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Dr. Clyde DeLoach officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens.
