Mr. Charlie Ray Thompson

Mr. Charlie Ray Thompson, age 74 of Vesta passed away on May 4, 2007 at Martinsville Memorial Hospital. He was born in Patrick County to the late Charlie Moten Thompson and Julie Keith Thompson. He was also preceded in death by
three sisters, Sena Pack, Minnie Stevens, and Eunice Tilley. Mr. Thompson worked as a farmer and was of the Holiness Faith. He attended Patrick County Horizon for five years where they were like his extended family.
Mr. Thompson is survived by one brother, Nelson Thompson of Ararat, VA and four sisters Della Sisk of Vesta, VA, Dorothy Howell of Vesta, VA, Linda Hall of Stuart, VA and Lola Haskins of Stuart, VA. Mr. Thompson also leaves behind a special friend, Anita Prutting.
Funeral services for Mr. Thompson will be held Monday, May 7, 2007 at 11:00AM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, conducted by Rev. Shirley Leath and Rev. J.R. Vipperman. Interment will follow in the New Beginning Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday night at Moody Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00PM.
