Mr. Chester Lee "Check" George

Mr. Chester Lee “Check” George, age 90, of Mt. Airy, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018, at Central Continuing Care. Mr. George was born in West Virginia on July 1, 1927, to Andy and Christine Norman George. Surviving is a sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Lonnie Atkins. In addition to his parents, Mr. George was preceded in death by a sister, Minnie George; brothers, Rudolph, Otis, Aldie, Orville, and Elmer George; and half-brothers, Garnett Venable, and Troy Venable. There will not be any formal services for Mr. George.
