Mr. Clarence Emmit Freeman

Rev. Clarence Emmit Freeman, age 88, of Millers Creek, NC passed away on Friday evening at the home of his daughter. He was born in Surry Co. on January 24, 1928 to the late Richard Walter and Matilda Callahan Freeman. He was retired farmer and retired from Wayne Farms. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lucreacey Shew Freeman; two sister and two brothers. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law Donna and Jimmy Wagoner of the home; three sons Danny Freeman of the home, Lynn Freeman of Level Cross, Mark Freeman of Mt. Airy; five grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three sisters Jewel White, Virginia Cave, and Mary Lou Shoemake all of Dobson. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday March 30, 2016 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson. Rev. Tim Pruitt will conduct the service. The family has requested in lieu of flower memorials be made to his Memorial Fund C/O Donna Wagoner 122 Kent Rd. Millers Creek, NC 28651.
