Mr. Claude Everette Golding

Mr. Claude Everette Golding, 84, of Mt. Airy passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Surry Community Health and Rehabilitation. He was born in Carroll County, VA on July 9, 1933 to the late Jack and Grace Hawks Golding. Mr. Golding retired from Vulcan Materials Company and was a member of Fellowship Tabernacle. He is survived by his wife, Lois Daniels Golding of Mt. Airy; grandchildren; Kristen Golding of Greenville, NC, Angel Camp, Tabitha Cooper both of IL; three great grandchildren; sisters, Jo Brannock of Mt. Airy, Hattie Cain of Cana, VA; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Golding was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Fitchpatrick; a son, David Golding; sisters, Alene Faulkner, Betty White and Pauline Koots; brothers, Roger, Harley, Wayne, and C.J. Golding. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald Bryant, Sr., and the Rev. Jimmy McCraw officiating. Burial will follow in Fellowship Tabernacle Cemetery. The family will receive Wednesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
