Mr. Clyde "Danny" Hutchens

Mr. Clyde "Danny" Hutchens, age 51 of Stuart passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was born in Patrick County on April 30, 1956. Mr. Hutchens was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Clifton Hutchens, and one sister, Janie Hutchens. He worked in the maintenance department as a mechanical contractor for Luwai/Bahnson in Winston-Salem, and was an avid fisherman.
Mr. Hutchens is survived by his wife, Judy Light Hutchens of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne Lee and Christy Hutchens of Lawsonville, North Carolina; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sheila H. and Jamie Scott of Stuart; Sara Hutchens of the home; one grandson, Mason Wyatt Scott; his mother, Dorothy Duncan Hutchens of Lawsonville; two brothers, David Hutchens of Martinsville and Michael Hutchens of Stuart; and three sisters, Elizabeth Felts of Walkertown, North Carolina, Marie Richardson of Madison, North Carolina and Donna Korns of Sandy Ridge, North Carolina.
Funeral services for Mr. Hutchens will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Tommy Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, and at other times at the homeplace.
