Mr. Clyde Norman Sutphin

Mr. Clyde Norman Sutphin age 60, of Stuart, Virginia passed away at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina on Thursday, April 19, 2018. He was born in Patrick County on August 15, 1957 to the late Marvin King Sutphin and Bessie Mae Bowman Sutphin.

Mr. Sutphin is survived by his children, Timothy Norman Sutphin of Patrick Springs, Laura Sutphin of Stuart, and Joseph Smith of Stuart; grandchildren, Caleb Sutphin, Abbigale Lawrence and Jacob Hughes; brothers, William Sutphin of Eden, NC, Glen Sutphin of Mount Airy, NC, and John Wayne Sutphin of Stuart; a special cousin who was as close as a brother, Tommy E. Massey of Stuart; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11:00 am at the cemetery located on Sal Hooker Hollow Road in Claudville, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until 10:45 am at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to: Clyde N.
