Mr. Clyde W. Willard

Mr. Clyde Walmer Willard, age 78 of Stuart, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina. He was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on June 2, 1932 to the late Boss and Mary W. Willard. In addition to his parents, Mr. Willard was preceded in death by two brothers, Garland and Charles Edward Willard.
Mr. Willard is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mary Lou Bryant Willard of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Dianne Willard of Louisburg, North Carolina; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Tim Honeycutt of Holly Springs, North Carolina; three granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Herman Willard of Axton, Vance and Ruth Willard of Axton and Gifford Willard of Panama City, Florida; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Gary Hunt of Stuart and Barbara and Cecil Hall of Stuart.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Tommy Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, North Carolina 27017.
