Mr. Connie Ray Campbell

Mr. Connie Ray Campbell, age 73 of Bassett, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection. He was born in Patrick County on September 8, 1942 to the late Woodrow and Hazel Lawson Campbell. In addition to his parents, Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Campbell, and a sister, Allie Mae Bullins. He had retired from Bassett Table.

Mr. Campbell is survived by three sons, Danny Campbell of Tampa, Florida, Randy Campbell of Roanoke and Sandy Campbell of Roanoke; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Susan Susie and Kenneth Holt of Stuart, Brenda and Junior Snow of Beulah, North Carolina; two aunts, Virginia Lawson of Kernersville, North Carolina and Lena Collins of Westfield, North Carolina; and special friends, James and Janette Shouse of Lawsonville, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Five Forks Wesleyan Church with Pastor Dave Henry officiating. Burial will follow in Aarons Corner Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.
